PET—Polyethylene Terephthalate. The gas is normally oligomers and small amount of degradation. Oligomers are only low in Degree of Polymerization, without changing the ingredients. During the extruding/heating of PET, the degradation products are P-Phthalic acid and Glycol. Both P-Phthalic acid and Glycol belong to low toxic organic compounds. Allowable concentration in air: P-Phthalic acid --15mg/m3; Glycol—10mg/m3.

Just equipped with simple ventilation system can avoid the damage to the operator of the machine (PET Extruding / Granulating machine line)
